Representative Kiley Announces Rabbi Yossi Korik as His Guest for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Joint Session
WASHINGTON – Representative Kevin Kiley (R-CA) that Rabbi Yossi Korik, Executive Director of Chabad of Placer County, will be guest of the Congressman at Wednesday’s Joint Session of Congress with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

With a distinguished background in rabbinical studies from esteemed institutions in France, Israel, Montreal, and New York, Rabbi Korik brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his community,” said Rep. Kiley. “As an official representative of Chabad-Lubavitch in Roseville and Granite Bay, Rabbi Korik is committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive Jewish community through his roles as a rabbi, teacher, and counselor.”
BACKGROUND:
Each Member of Congress can host one guest in the visitor’s gallery during Joint Sessions of Congress. Kiley invited local Rabbi Yossi Korik. Ordained in 2003 at the Central Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim in Brooklyn, NY, Rabbi Korik also holds ordination for officiating religious weddings from the Chief Rabbinate in Israel. His dedication to Jewish education and community building is exemplified through his co-founding of the first Jewish Synagogue in South Placer – Chabad of Placer County in 2005, and the Sacramento Jewish Academy, which serves preschool and K-8 students.
