Rep. Kiley Statement After Vote on House Budget Resolution
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Kevin Kiley (I-CA) issued the following statement today after voting “present” on the House Budget Resolution:
“I have strong reservations about a party-line process that results in immigration enforcement being exempted from the requirements of yearly appropriations and bipartisan agreement. My vote on a final reconciliation bill will depend on the passage of meaningful reforms to immigration enforcement that are supported by the vast majority of Americans.”
