Rep. Kevin Kiley Leads Subcommittee Hearing on Screentime in Schools

WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA) chaired a Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education hearing on screentime in schools.

As student access to smartphones and other devices has grown, so too have concerns about classroom distractions, mental health, and student achievement. The hearing brought together researchers, educators, and policy leaders to examine how schools are responding and to identify strategies that are proving most effective.
