Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Kevin Kiley (I-CA) announced he has been reinstated to his congressional committee assignments in the 119th Congress.

Rep. Kiley will return to his seats on the House Committee on Education and Workforce, where he will serve once again as Chair for the Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary and Second Education. Kiley will also serve on the Judiciary Committee and Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.

“People want to see a Congress that works for the country, not one political party or the other.  I’m grateful to my colleagues and committee chairs for recognizing my contributions by confirming my appointment as the only independent member of the House to serve on the Judiciary, Education and Transportation Committees.  I’m especially pleased to be reappointed as Chair of the critical subcommittee on K through 12 education,” said Rep. Kiley. “I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and returning immediately.”
