ADVISORY: Congressman Kiley to Host Pinning Ceremony for Vietnam Veterans on March 29
WASHINGTON – On Friday, March 29, Representative Kevin Kiley (R-CA) will be hosting a pinning ceremony for Vietnam Veterans at Folsom Middle School at 500 Blue Ravine Rd, Folsom, CA 95630. Over 40 Vietnam Veterans and their families will be in attendance.
“On behalf of a grateful nation, I am honored to recognize the hard work and many sacrifices of our Vietnam Veterans. This Pinning Ceremony is a chance, in many cases overdue, to thank our Vietnam Veterans for their outstanding service,” said Rep. Kiley.
WHAT: The 2008 National Defense Authorization Act established the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration with an objective to thank and honor our 7 million Vietnam veterans and 10 million families of those who served for their heroic service and sacrifice on behalf of the Nation. Over 40 Vietnam Veterans will be recognized at the ceremony.
