ADVISORY: Congressman Kiley Hosts Pinning Ceremony for Vietnam Veterans on December 22

On Friday, December 22, Congressman Kevin Kiley will be hosting a pinning ceremony for Vietnam Veterans at the Roseville VFW at 110 Park Drive in Roseville.

“On behalf of a grateful nation, I am honored to recognize the hard work and many sacrifices of our Vietnam Veterans. This Pinning Ceremony is a chance, in many cases overdue, to thank our Vietnam Veterans for their outstanding service,” said Rep. Kiley.

WHAT: The 2008 National Defense Authorization Act established the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration with an objective to thank and honor our 7 million Vietnam veterans and 10 million families of those who served for their heroic service and sacrifice on behalf of the Nation. Congressman Kiley will be pinning over 50 Vietnam Veterans at the ceremony. Between 150-200 people are expected to attend.

1:35pm – 1:40pm Speech – General Robert Hipwell, Placer County Veterans Stand Down.

1:40pm – 1:45pm Speech – Alec Lange w/ the USA Vietnam War Commemoration.

1:45pm – 1:50pm Speech – Congressman Kevin Kiley.

1:50pm – 2:50pm Presentation of the pins.

2:50pm – 2:55pm Retirement of the Colors.
