The office of Congressman Kevin Kiley has successfully solved more than 5,000 individual constituent cases, helping thousands of people navigate the federal government. In celebration of this milestone, you are invited to a Constituent Services Fair with Congressman Kevin Kiley where you will be connected directly with government services. At the event, you can:

  • Enroll for TSA PreCheck
  • Apply for your passport with the U.S. Department of State
    • Appointments required.
  • Get help with veterans benefits with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Sacramento County Veterans Services Office, and Placer County Veterans Services Office.
    • Onsite assistance will be available for VA Disability Compensation, Pension claims, Aid and Attendance claims, VA Healthcare applications, help with college fee waivers, claim status updates, benefits information, claim submissions, & intent to file, and more!
  • Receive free tax help for low-income families and general tax information from the IRS’ Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers
  • Learn about Wildfire Prevention Programs and other government services with the U.S. Forest Service
  • Receive materials from the Social Security Administration and Federal Trade Commission

To apply for your U.S. passport, you must bring:

  • Completed application: DS-11 for first time applicants or minors, or DS-82 for adult renewals if eligible.
  • Original AND photocopy of evidence of U.S. Citizenship:
    • U.S. birth certificate;
    • Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship;
    • Report of Birth Abroad; or
    • Previous U.S. Passport
  • Recent passport photo – 2” x 2” in size, taken within 6 months, no glasses in photo.
  • Valid photo identification – Driver’s License, State ID, or Military ID, etc.
  • Payment – credit cards, checks, or money order. No cash payment.
    • Expedite Service (2-3 weeks processing)
    • Routine Service (4-6 weeks processing)

All passport applicants must appear in person, including minors. Passport applications for minors under the age of 16 requires the consent of both parents, or evidence that one parent has sole legal custody. Please visit https://travel.state.gov/passports/children for more information.
